    AT&T donation to 4-H supports digital literacy

    STARKVILLE, Miss. -- A recent donation from AT&T will help Mississippi 4-H’ers increase their digital literacy. AT&T donated $38,000 and 125 laptops to the Mississippi State University Extension Service 4-H Youth Development Program.

    Farmweek signs off after 49-year run

    The June 24 taping of Farmweek marked the end of the road for the statewide agricultural news television program. The series finale airs June 30 on RFD-TV and June 27 and 29 on Mississippi Public Broadcasting, where each of its nearly 2,500 episodes has aired since the show’s debut in 1977.

    disCARD aims to close data gaps in Gulf fisheries

    Launched this year with $2 million in funding from NOAA Fisheries and the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission, the initiative introduces a hybrid reporting system known as “disCARD” -- a paper-and-digital catch card designed to capture real-time data on released fish across the Gulf of Mexico.
