Description
For more education on beekeeping, please come join us for the “Beginner Beekeeping Multi-County Educational Series: Northeast District workshops. We will cover general beekeeping rules, how-to manage the hive, integrated pest management, springtime hive inspections, and always new ideas for success for beginners and those with some experience.
This first workshop will meet at the Monroe County Extension Office on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
2 – September 21, 2026 (*Monroe Co Extension Office)
3 – October 15, 2026 (*Lowndes Co. Extension Office 662-328-2111)
Registration is required for attendance, so please call 662-369-4951 or 662-328-2111 to register for this training and there is no fee, plus reference materials will be provided. For more details call the local Extension office.
